I'm an enthusiastic former high school teacher with 11 years of experience who implemented effective instructional practices to improve student learning, utilizing tailored reading, writing, and speaking skills in Spanish. I taught AP Spanish Language & Culture for 10 years, Spanish Level 2 classes for 9 years and a Level 3 Spanish class for 1 year. I also taught a World History class for 1 year. I have helped students get passing scores on the AP Spanish Language & Culture test and have helped students earn the Seal of Biliteracy in IL.

I graduated with a Masters of Art in Teaching from Relay graduate School of Education. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College in Hispanic Studies and I have an ESL Endorsement.
