"Hello! My name is Colin and I hold a PhD in Education, and MA in Latino Studies, and a BA in Education and Teaching with a focus on multilingualism and teacher preparation. Over the past 15+ years, I have taught Spanish at the high school and university levels, including Advanced Placement (AP), heritage speaker, and college-level courses. I have also taught Algebra 2, Creative Writing, and multilingual poetry, in addition to training future educators in teacher education programs across California and internationally, focusing on inclusive instructional strategies and differentiated learning. My tutoring and teaching experience spans classroom instruction, small group facilitation, and one-on-one support. I have worked with students from middle school through college, tailoring lessons to their individual needs, interests, and goals.
