"With over fifteen years in the math classrooom, plus ten years in online math education, I have a broad range of experience to help students be successful. I have classroom teaching experience in upper middle school and high school, teaching students from a variety of mastery and skill levels. I have tutored with a variety of age groups, from high schoolers and middle schoolers, as well as early college students. I have worked with students from a wide range of educational settings, including public, private, and charter school, & as well as home school or co-op settings. I have worked with students who enjoy math, as well as those who do not enjoy math. I have taught students to whom math comes easily, and I have taught students who express a dislike for math. I enjoy working with each type of student, because each individual is unique.

I am skilled in the areas of Algebra and Geometry (including Pre-Algebra). I have many strategies for helping students successfully master content. I have acquired many tips & tricks in my toolkit over the years to help students master content. I utilize a "mobile classroom" with many manipulative resources and math tools that help students make learning more memorable and exciting.

I am professional and effective, while still being relatable to students and down-to-earth. I am also a mother, and I have helped my own children navigate math courses successfully, regardless of their like or dislike for the content.
