I'm Josh.

I'm on a break from full-time teaching to be a Dad and a part-time instructor at a small technical college where I currently teach Conceptual Physics and College Algebra. I'm looking to add a few more hours to my work schedule because I enjoy working with people and because summer camp for my kids is not cheap.

I got my BA at Swarthmore College (Magna Cum Laude; Phi Beta Kappa) and my MA at Brown University.

For a quarter century now I've worked with students in Kindergarten through College, including extensive one-on-one tutoring and a decade of full-time classroom teaching. I've worked with public school free-lunch kids and billionaire's kids and adults studying toward a second career.

The majority of my instruction has been in Math and Science (mostly Physics), but I've also professionally taught in English, History, and Philosophy departments.
