"Hi! I’m Jen. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English Education from Siena College, with minors in Psychology and Educational Studies. I earned my Dual Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Literacy from St. John’s University, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. I was honored with the Convocation Award for both the TESOL and Literacy programs. I currently hold three New York State teaching certifications: English (Grades 7–12), TESOL (Pre-K–12), and Literacy (Grades 5–12).

I’ve been tutoring since high school and currently teach ESL to students in Grades 7–12. I also tutor in literacy and elementary math. I specialize in breaking down complex material and reteaching it in a way that’s clear, accessible, and confidence-building. In recent years, I’ve seen how the pandemic disrupted the development of foundational academic skills.
