"I am a certified English teacher (grades 5-12), and a certified reading specialist. I have over ten treats of experience both in the classroom and delivering literacy-based professional development.

I have taught 6th-8th grade English/Language Arts, and I love building relationships with my students and encouraging their literacy development through engaging and authentic activities and relevant texts. I love watching my students grow as learners and as individuals.

I am a certified teacher and reading specialist, and I am a teacher consultant with the Oklahoma Writing Project. I have a Master’s degree, and I am currently finishing my doctorate in education.
