"Hello! I’m Laurie. I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s in Science specializing in Special Education. I then went on to get my masters at Ashland University in Literacy.

I have been teaching at the elementary level for 20 years specializing in special education. I co-teach in a general education classroom which allows me to work with all students. I have been co-teaching in the area of math for the past 5 years. Having my special education background allows me to provide different strategies to all students to better help them grow and understand the material in a more meaningful way.
