"I am an experienced educator with 33 years of teaching in both elementary and middle school classrooms, working with students in a wide range of grade levels, abilities, and learning styles. My background includes a bachelor’s degree in education as well as a master’s degree in education, which has given me a strong foundation in instructional strategies and child development. Over the course of my career, I have taught core subjects such as reading, writing, language arts, and math, and I’ve supported students with everything from daily homework needs to long-term skill development.

My approach to tutoring is patient, structured, and highly individualized. I believe every child learns differently, and I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and unique learning profile before planning instruction. Whether a student needs help building foundational skills, catching up after setbacks, or gaining enrichment beyond the classroom, I create lessons that are engaging, achievable, and tailored to their goals. I also focus on helping students develop confidence, study skills, and strategies they can use independently long after tutoring sessions end.
