"My name is Lauren, and I am a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Memphis. I currently teach 6th grade, covering Math, English Language Arts, History, and Science. Over the years, I have gained extensive teaching experience working with students from 1st through 6th grade, which has given me a broad understanding of developmental and academic needs across these age groups. This range allows me to tailor my instruction to each student’s unique learning style and grade level, ensuring effective support in a variety of subjects.

In the classroom, I use a student-centered approach that emphasizes differentiated instruction, hands-on learning, and real-world connections to make lessons engaging and meaningful. I believe every student can succeed when given the right support and encouragement. Outside of the classroom, I have also worked one-on-one with students through tutoring, helping them strengthen skills, build confidence, and develop a growth mindset. I adapt my teaching methods to meet each student’s individual needs, using a variety of tools and strategies that promote understanding and independent learning.
