"Hello there! My name is Becky. I graduated magna cum laude from Oakland University in Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I currently have an active Colorado Professional Teaching License with endorsements in Elementary Education (Grades K-6), English Language Arts (Grades 6-12), and Middle School Mathematics Education (Grades 6-8). I taught 4th and 5th grade for over seven years and also helped to start an after-school tutoring program during that time after realizing the need.

The best part of being an educator is helping students do their best and achieve their individual goals. Not all students learn the same way, so it is important to differentiate lessons to the individual needs of the students. After helping my own children with their classwork in elementary, middle and high school, I have realized the importance of having fun and engaging educators who take the time to show that they care about the students.
