"I’m originally from the UK, where I earned my Post Graduate Certification in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the University of Birmingham in 2017, followed by a Master’s in Education in from Birmingham City University in 2022. I’ve taught in a wide range of diverse public schools across the UK, working primarily with students aged 7-12 years and supporting learners with a variety of needs, abilities, and backgrounds.

Over the past eight years, I’ve specialised in teaching reading, writing and maths. I've developed strong expertise in helping learners build confidence in core subjects through clear instruction, structured practice, and positive, student-centered guidance. My approach blends explicit teaching, guided practice, and targeted feedback, with an emphasis on helping students understand how they learn best, whether that’s through visual supports, step-by-step modelling, or discussion-based problem solving.

Since moving to the US, I’ve continued working with children in grades K–6 across multiple curricula, including Common Core, the IB Primary Years Programme, and England’s National Curriculum in one-to-one and small group tutoring settings by providing support to children who need extra challenge, extra support, or simply a calmer, more personalised learning space.
