"Greetings, I'm Joi! I graduated with two Master degrees in Ministry, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology and an Associate degree in Music. I realize my pattern of education reflects my life's journey. To serve the community, encourage participation and bring people together through a universal language expression. The professors I met instilled the importance of finding fun in learning. I try to implement this knowledge when I tutor, and do everything I can to make learning a pleasant experience. I use lesson plans that keep the students engaged and introduce fun and creative learning goals. After teaching the material, I ensure time for students to practice the material on their own with modifications as needed to meet the students individual needs.

I have three years of tutoring experience with high school grades in Algebra I and Algebra II. I have ten years of experience teaching fourth through eighth grade in Elementary Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Music, Art and other academic subjects using technology. I am an expert at classroom management and organization. I find favor in developing and delivering curriculum designs, engaging lesson plans and instruction adaptation. I provide individualized instruction and foster a positive inclusive learning environment. My ultimate goal is to assure every student is given a fair chance in learning by maintaining open communications with the students, parents and staff.
