"I bring 11 years of elementary teaching experience, a Master’s Degree in Reading (K–12), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education to my work with students. I am highly trained in all five essential components of reading—phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension—and I use ongoing, data-driven assessments to identify each child’s specific strengths and needs.

In my own classroom, I work with students in targeted small groups based on assessment results, and I have also extensive experience tutoring students one-on-one, both during the school day and through individualized tutoring outside the classroom.
