"Welcome! I am Kristen, a Maryland certified Elementary School Teacher. I got my bachelor’s degree in secondary education from the University of Maryland. I taught high school before transitioning to elementary education where I have spent the last 10 years. I have worked with children ages 4-17 as a coach, club sponsor, tutor, and classroom teacher.

My years of experience in the classroom allows me to create a safe educational environment where learners are respected, and their opinions valued. I design lessons that are accessible and engaging to foster lifelong learners. My years of motherhood have taught me that children are vastly different in the way they learn and process information.
