"I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with state certification to teach grades Pre-K through 3rd. Over the years, I’ve also pursued ongoing professional development in areas such as early literacy, classroom management, and differentiated instruction to ensure my teaching remains current and effective.

I have 13 years of experience teaching young children, primarily in kindergarten classrooms. My students have typically ranged from ages 4 to 7, and I’ve worked with them in a variety of settings—including public school classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one sessions. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how to meet children’s individual learning needs, whether in a structured classroom or more personalized learning environment.

My teaching approach is hands-on, engaging, and rooted in routine. I believe young children learn best when they are active participants in the learning process, so I incorporate songs, movement, visual supports, and play-based learning into my instruction. I also place a strong emphasis on building a positive classroom community where students feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

In addition to classroom teaching, I’ve also tutored students individually and in small groups—focusing especially on early literacy and foundational math skills.
