"Hello, I’m Abigail! I provide Elementary School level tutoring in multiple subjects, including ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. I am a certified Texas teacher in all subjects from EC-6th grade. I graduated from Tarleton State University with my Bachelors’ of Science in Psychology, and am working towards my Graduate degree in Applied Psychology. I currently work as a 5th grade science and social studies teacher, while also supporting and offering tutoring sessions for both math and ELA for my students as well.

My goal is to help students’ achieve their goals for academic success and find ways to support their individual needs. I believe tutoring is best when tailored towards the student directly as an individual, as everyone's learning styles are unique. I try to incorporate ways that are fun yet challenging for the student and want them to love and gain an appreciation for learning.

Prior to teaching, I gained 2 years of tutoring experience working through college as an AVID tutor for all content subjects for grades 6th-8th at a local school district. I worked directly with students who needed help individually or in small group focus sessions, especially when students needed help with the same concepts.
