"I’m Amber! I graduated with highest distinction with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a second Master’s degree in Instructional and Curriculum Supervision. I have 13 years of teaching experience. I have taught Kindergarten, first grade and third grade. I have tutored students in grades K-5 both one-on-one and in group settings. I have one year of experience teaching virtually and hybrid. I also have one year of experience tutoring online. I’ve tutored one-on-one and small groups in an online setting.

I am an enthusiastic elementary teacher devoted to promoting student learning and enhancing individual potential. I am skillful in directing classroom environments and enhancing student behavior through positive and forward-thinking approaches. I am also a very passionate and caring relationship- builder with analytical mindset and good decision-making skills.

I love to create clever lessons to engage students and focus on core subjects necessary for personal and academic growth. I am very flexible and adapt to students needs. I provide a warm, supportive environment for developing academic, social, and emotional growth.

As previously stated, I have experience with and can tutor all subjects K-5. I have the most experience with reading/ELA. I LOVE to read and share that joy with students! My favorite is always the “aha moment” when it clicks for students and I see their eyes light up!
