"Hi! My name is Shari, and I'm seeking a position as a tutor. I have 26 years of teaching experience, and last year I was voted Teacher of the Year. I am currently certified in Elementary Education (K-6) and ESL. Throughout my career, I have taught grades 2-4, Reading Intervention, and English as a Second Language. I recently completed LETRS training through the state of NC and have a deeper understanding of the science of reading. My approach to teaching is to ensure that my students are actively engaged in lessons and develop a love for learning.
