"I have 6 years experience in the classroom setting as a first grade teacher. I have previously taught second and fifth in the classroom setting as well. I have experience with online teaching during Covid but prefer in person. I have taught whole class, small group, and one-on-one. I value direct instruction with hands on materials especially for young students because it benefits how they learn in context.

I am a graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in Elementary Education. I have a certificate in the Science of Reading. I am currently finishing my Masters at the University of Rhode Island with a MEd specializing in teaching students of other languages(TESOL) I am a current practicing teacher familiar with CCSS, Wonders Reading, Eureka/Eureka², as well as many other different curriculums.
