"Hi! I’m Varsha - an incoming college freshman, and I’m excited to share my passion for learning as a tutor. I graduated high school in May with a 4.9 weighted GPA and maintained the highest honor roll all four years. Over the years, I’ve gained significant tutoring experience and developed an approach that adapts to each student’s unique needs.

I currently work at Kumon Learning Center, helping students from preschool to 8th grade with math and reading. I grade assignments, answer questions, and assist with challenging material. This experience has taught me the importance of patience and adaptability in working with younger students at various learning levels.

Additionally, I served as a lead tutor in my high school’s Peer Tutoring Society, where I helped with advanced subjects like AP Chemistry, AP US History, Calculus, Physics, Statistics, and Spanish. I also organized tutoring sessions, matched tutors with students, and provided one-on-one help. This reinforced the importance of customizing my approach to each student’s pace and learning style.

I also led an SAT bootcamp through Schoolhouse.world, where I tutored a group of 10 students in SAT Reading. I taught strategies for approaching questions and managing time effectively, ensuring students felt prepared and confident. Throughout these experiences, I’ve learned that success comes from creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
