"I’m Mykayla! I graduate Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Read to Succeed endorsement. I have always loved learning and seek to share that love of learning with my students. My lesson plans consist of the topic for the lesson along with multiple fun practice and application opportunities for the skill being taught. Each lesson I teach is individualized to each student’s needs and learning styles.

I have 1 year of tutoring experience in elementary reading and math, as well as 5 years teaching experience as a certified elementary educator. I have taught students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd Grade and have experience teaching fundamental skills as well as helping students to prepare for standardized tests such as IREAD and ILEARN.
