"Hi, I am Theresa! I am a current teacher and elementary school tutor. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Christian University, and a Master's in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. I currently teach fifth and sixth grade math and humanities at a private school in south Oklahoma City, and I love working with my students. I enjoy seeing high achievers fly as high as they can, but greater joy comes from watching the light turn on for a student who was struggling to understand an idea. My elementary experience has allowed me turn tutor in fun and engaging ways that will inspire a love of learning in your student. We will use hands-on activities in math, and real books in reading. We will work hard, but have fun at the same time.

I have experience working with students from grades 2-6 in both math and reading. I have taught these subjects to whole classes, small groups of 2-5, and individual students. I can assess students' current needs, and provide the structure and activities to get them to the level they need.
