"Hi there! My name is Deleyah H. and I am a certified teacher in Virginia. I graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelors in History and a minor in Elementary Education. I am licensed to teach reading, writing, math, science and social studies for Pre-K to 6th grade. I have been teaching, both in the classroom and online, for 10 years.

I started teaching in Norfolk, Virginia. Next, I moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia and taught in a classroom setting that included gifted, inclusion and ELL students. In addition, I have taught, virtually and in person, for 3 tutoring companies in the Hampton Roads area since 2020. I currently hold over 20 one-hour tutoring sessions per week.

My students describe me as happy, excited, loving, caring and engaging. I truly believe that all students can and will succeed. My personal and professional experience has helped my students to become the best they can be.
