"I am a graduate of Temple University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in political science and global studies: economics with the highest honors. I began tutoring in high school as a volunteer for the National Honor Society, focusing on English and Math, as well as SAT/ACT preparation for middle and high school students. In college, I tutored peers one-on-one through a work-study program, specializing in composition, literature, and macroeconomics. Additionally, as a teacher’s assistant to an economics professor, I led study groups to prepare students for final exams. These experiences prepared me to engage students, help them pin down elusive subject matter, and nurture independent critical thinking as well as confidence in their own abilities.
