"Hello there! My name is Jennifer! I am a licensed secondary history teacher in North Carolina. I am currently working as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor, teaching Theatre Appreciation and Drama Production. I have lived and worked in countries around the globe, including Cambodia, China and Uruguay. I have experience with students of all ages, from elementary school to adults. I've worked in international training schools to help students prepare for important exams, which means I have great experience with college exam prep and other language exams. I have also worked at a private tutoring center with a focus on phonics and early reader students. I have great experience tutoring adults in many different fields, specifically in Business English and medical English. Outside of the classroom, I have a passion for musical theater and acting!

My Bachelor's Degree is in Asian Studies, for which I had many courses in history, politics and culture for different Asian nations. I was a Human Geography major at the United States Military Academy as well. I have experience in creating and implementing both a World History and American History curriculum in China and in the United States. I have my Master's in Education from National University. I completed my teacher preparation program at Teachers of Tomorrow to teach secondary social studies.

I have been performing for almost 12 years now! I have experience in musical performance, directing, stage managing and acting in amateur companies and professional companies. Now, I also teach theatre and drama production at the college level.
