"I hold an associate's degree in Secondary Education and a bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology. I’ve spent five years teaching in the classroom and several more tutoring one-on-one. I’ve worked with high school and adult students to strengthen reading, writing, and vocabulary skills, and to prepare for essays, tests, and college-level work. I help students develop strong voices, craft compelling narratives, and explore their ideas with confidence.

I began tutoring as an ESL tutor in college and have also volunteered extensively with ESL students and their families. Those experiences taught me that learning thrives when students feel understood and supported.

My sessions are flexible and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether we’re exploring a Shakespeare scene, building vocabulary, or refining essay strategies, I focus on helping students grow in skill and confidence. I love watching that moment when things click and a student realizes they really can do what they deemed impossible.
