"My name is Kirsten. I have over 20 years of experience tutoring students in English, writing and mathematics, particularly algebra. I enjoy helping my students reach their personal and educational goals. I know I have succeeded when a student no longer feels they need my assistance. I am experienced in both online and live in-person tutoring.

My hobbies include rock hunting, writing, maritime and shipwreck history and crochet. I volunteer as a tour guide at a Maritime Museum and give tours of a historic lighthouse. I am also a published article writer and current edit a newsletter for my local rock and mineral club.
