"Hello! I am an experienced ESL teacher with an MAT in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I taught teens and adults from all over the world at a university intensive English program for 10 years. I am skilled in teaching reading, writing, listening and speaking English, as well as pronunciation, grammar, idioms, test prep, college prep, online classes, and American culture. I use experiential learning with rich language input. Language learning should be fun! I can tailor tutoring to the individual student's needs.

My degree from the School for International Teaching emphasized experiential learning, meeting the student where they are, understanding cultural differences, and promoting bilingual education. I also speak some German, Spanish, and Yiddish, so I understand what it is like to learn a new language. I love learning languages, and I would like to share that joy with students. Learning English can open a lot of doors for students.

I am also well qualified to teach native speakers of English grammar, writing, reading and other high school/college prep academic skills. And I have experience teaching older people how to use technology. Currently, I am teaching a clinician how to use an electronic medical record cloud-based platform.
