"Briefly, I am an experienced French tutor who gets fabulous results with students. Students have remarked at my enthusiasm and creativity. I have taught students through AP level. Some have placed in the top 20% nationwide. Others advanced from elementary to honors. For one student, I created a curriculum to complete a year-long study in two months for a high-school student transferring schools. She passed the entrance exam, then advanced to AP French. Students have been at all levels, from middle school through high school. Most recently, taught a semi-private class for two middle school students.

My French education has been mostly in France. After having completed an Advanced Certificate in French in Boston in 2005, GPA 3.7, I spent four summers in the past six years (semester abroad) studying at language schools in Lyon, Bretagne, Sancerre and Toulouse. I passed all the French Government's Language Exams through the (DELF) B2 level. Passing DELF B2 has qualified me to attend any French University. To complete my "semester abroad" program, in Toulouse, before beginning at university, I attended the highest level French class, C1, which included mostly French teachers. I have a BA in English from University of Michigan.

I have tested at the French Government's C1 level, its highest (Diplôme Approfondi), the professional level of French knowledge and comprehension. Students have remarked at my expertise, my enthusiasm and my creativity.
