"I'm Paola ! I graduated from the Lycée Français de New York, a French Ministry of Education-accredited school, in 2024 and earned my Baccalauréat. What I realize is that what made my education so impactful was not the rigor of the coursework, or the amount of tests and exams, or the variety of things learned. Instead, it was the devoted and dedicated teachers, who were always willing to go the extra mile to help students understand a particularly challenging subject, who spent time individually with each student to make sure they got the attention and help needed. I bring this attitude with me in my approach to tutoring, and do everything I can to make my lessons not only fruitful, but also enjoyable. I tailor each learning experience to every child's individual needs and strengths, which has been very successful in getting every child and parent the results they are looking for.

I have three years experience tutoring elementary and middle school aged children in French, working with them on reading, writing, speaking, as well as homework and test prep. I also have one years experience tutoring college students in French. All of my students, whether they be six or 20 years old, have had varying levels of proficiency in French, and I am comfortable in my ability to tutor and student who needs help, no matter their experience with French.
