I'm in my final year at CBU, studying communications, and I'm aiming to become an ASL interpreter in the future. I've done some interpreting at the S.T.E.P conference, which gave me a good look at what goes on behind the scenes. Plus, I had a deaf best friend growing up, so I've seen the other side of interpretation for years.
I've been teaching and tutoring for 10 years now. I've taught ASL to homeschool kids and helped out people internationally with ASL virtually through Zoom and in person – showing I can handle a variety of teaching situations.
My main goal in tutoring is to boost your confidence in signing. I'm here to help parents with deaf children who want to learn sign language to communicate better.
