"With 8 years of full-time classroom teaching under my belt, I have ample teaching experience and am thrilled to have the opportunity to focus on students individually. Even in full classrooms, I have always prioritized connecting with my students; yet, it has long been my dream to work one-on-one with students and tailor lessons to their individual needs. I pride myself most in my patience and friendliness as a teacher. I work hard to incorporate my students' interests into their lessons so they will get the most possible out of their learning experience and be able to connect with the curriculum.

I have taught grades 5-12, but I look forward to teaching students of all ages, from little ones to adults. I absolutely love analyzing and writing about history and politics and love to share that passion with my students. I am fluent in Spanish and have extensive experience working with non-native English speakers.
