"Hi I'm Isabel! I am a recent graduate of Harvard University with a bachelors degree in Biology and a secondary in Environmental Science and Public Policy. I am extremely passionate about tutoring, and love to share my excitement about learning with students who may view math and science as difficult and uninteresting. My favorite teachers have always been those who can make the class interested in anything through fun and engaging lessons, and my goal is to emulate this in my own teachings! I also have a passion for helping students increase their SAT scores, and have worked with a wide variety of students in SAT preparation, particularly for the reading portion. In high school, I received a 5 on 4 AP exams including Calculus AB and Physics 1. In college, I have completed the equivalent of Calculus BC and Multivariable Calculus as well as Biology, Introductory Physics and Mechanics, and Genetics among other life science courses. I have 5 years of tutoring experience in high school classrooms for students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2 Honors, Geometry Honors, and Honors Precalculus and Trigonometry.
