"Hi, I'm Rose! I hold a B.S. in Biology and a Minor in Spanish from Duke University (2021) and a Master’s in Physiology at NC State University (2024). I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a Biotechnology course at NC State for two years, independently leading two weekly lab sessions. I am now a second year medical student at the Duquesne University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pittsburgh to embark on a career in medicine!

My passion lies in working with kids and young adults, and I bring over four years of tutoring experience, spanning subjects including all levels of math, biology, chemistry, English, Spanish and test prep at various levels. I've been dedicated to volunteering with local students since high school, and I specialize in guiding students one-on-one from 7th to 12th grade, as well as college students. I usually focus on guiding students through their school work, but I also have experience in building my own lessons to help students prepare for upcoming classes. Test prep is also very important, and I have experience building a study routine within and beyond our sessions that will help students excel on standardized tests!
