"I’m Amber. I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Evolutionary, Ecological, Organismal Biology and Secondary Education. I completed a Masters in Biology at Clemson University. I have been teaching biology for 18 years.

I am committed to helping my students learn not only the material, but practical life skills that will help them succeed in other classes, such as study skills and critical thinking. I am passionate about biology and do my best to make it exciting and fun to learn.

Over the course of 18 years, I have taught every level of biology ranging from standard to AP. I have never had a student fail my class because I relentlessly pursue them and help them find study practices that can help them succeed.
