"My name is Jacqueline! I graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University with a dual degree in English and Philosophy. Two years later I earned my Master of Arts degree in Literature from Syracuse University. While in graduate school I tutored in the university writing center where I edited everything from dissertations and theses to resumes and cover letters. Upon graduation I taught high school English for sophomores and juniors for a year before becoming a journalist.

I'm passionate about teaching writing and helping students grasp critical communication skills to help them better express themselves. I've spent every year of my adult life either teaching or writing -- often some form of both. I love passing on what I've learned and I particularly enjoy making it accessible for students trying to find their voice or finish a research paper.
