"Bonjour, tout le monde!

Born and raised in northern Minnesota, I earned my BA in French in Massachusetts (MHC) and my MA in French in Vermont (Middlebury). I spent two years in France, living with French families and attending French universities. After teaching high school French in Minnesota for 29 years, I have changed careers, and my French tutoring world is my fun place! (Another fun place for me is our state French speaking contest, which I run.)

I am interested in helping students of any age learn French, but my favorite student is the one who has not yet discovered a passion for the language. I can help reluctant learners by giving them shortcuts to memorizing vocabulary and grammar that will help them with the ultimate goal of communication. I will support what your classroom teacher is teaching so that you can be more successful in class, or, if you just want me to be your French teacher, I can do that too!
