"I taught history for 30 years in an independent boarding school in Connecticut. I am retired now and I miss teaching history and interacting with students very much. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Smith College and and I received a MA in History from Indiana University. I taught World, European and US history. I also taught AP European history. As department chair, I was responsible for developing and implementing the history curriculum.

I love history and I love teaching. I believe that knowing history is essential to understanding yourself and your world. I was trained in European History but, like most teachers in small schools, I ended up teaching all kinds of history . It was a joy to "have to" learn new material and I can no longer say what my favorite history is.
