"Math used to be my worst subject, but I felt I there must be something I was missing. I worked hard to figure out what that was, and I discovered that math is not just useful, but a deeply human endeavor that can be intrinsically enriching. Now I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and my day job is working on math with high school students as a Title 1 teacher / interventionist. My hope is to share some of the enthusiasm I feel toward the subject with my students, and help them experience math as something enjoyable, interesting, and meaningful.

I have ADHD, so I know some of the challenges that can come with doing what can often be tedious work. My sessions are always oriented toward answering the questions "What's the point?" and "Who cares?"
