"Hey! I am an economics educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pomona College, where I was recognized as a Pomona Scholar of Economics. I currently teach high school AP Macroeconomics as a full-time classroom teacher, working with students across grades 9–12. In this role, I design lesson plans aligned with the AP curriculum, track student progress through regular assessments, and help students develop the analytical and graphical reasoning skills needed for success on exams and beyond. My academic training and teaching experience also prepare me to tutor AP Microeconomics and other economics-related courses, and I have additional experience tutoring economics courses during my time in college.

My tutoring philosophy is grounded in patience, clarity, and kindness. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. Every student has different goals–whether mastering core concepts, improving test performance, or building confidence–and I tailor my approach to meet those needs efficiently and thoughtfully. In addition to economics instruction, I have three years of part-time experience as a college advisor with EducationUSA, where I supported students and families through the college application process.
