"I am an experienced tutor with a bachelors degree from UNC-Greensboro, majoring in psychology and minoring in biology. I also earned a master's in education from NC State University. I have been working with primarily high school students both in person and online for over five years. I believe in meeting students wherever they are at currently in their academic journey, while treating them with patience and understanding. We all learn in different ways and at different paces, so I believe the core of a strong tutor-student relationship is learning what works best for the student and tailoring our sessions to create that environment. I also feel like most students ended up getting shortchanged in their classes during the pandemic, so I like to check in on some foundational skills and fill in the gaps whenever possible.
