"I'm a recent graduate from Stanford University, where I earned my B.A. in Sociology with a 3.98 GPA. My coursework required extensive writing and critical thinking, which strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. I received perfect scores on the Reading and English sections of the ACT and so I feel very confident in my ability to work with students in these two areas.

My passion for education led me to start an educational nonprofit focused on expanding access to college advising. Through this work, I developed a college application mentorship cohort for about 20 students, where I organized panels on navigating the college process and personally mentored five students. I supported them through every step of their journey—from brainstorming essays and preparing for standardized tests to creating college lists and completing their applications. I’m proud to share that one of my mentees was accepted to Stanford, and another to the USC Bovard Scholars program.

In addition to college advising, I have extensive experience helping students craft compelling school essays and sharpen their grammar and writing skills, especially in preparation for standardized tests. Whether it's polishing a personal statement or strengthening sentence structure, I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to help each student succeed.

I'm beginning graduate school this fall, and since I now have some extra time this summer, I'd love to dedicate it to helping students succeed!
