"Hi, I'm Rose! I hold a B.S. in Biology and a Minor in Spanish from Duke University (2021) and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Physiology at NC State University, graduating in May 2024. I have been working as a Teaching Assistant in a Biotechnology course at NC State for the past two years, independently leading two weekly lab sessions. My next step is attending Duquesne University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pittsburgh to embark on a career in medicine!

My passion lies in working with kids and young adults, and I bring over three years of tutoring experience, spanning subjects like math, biology, chemistry, English, and Spanish. I've been dedicated to volunteering with local students since high school, and I specialize in guiding students one-on-one from 7th to 12th grade, as well as college students. I usually focus on guiding students through their school work, but I also have experience in building my own lessons to help students prepare for upcoming classes. Test prep is also very important, and I have experience building a study routine within and beyond our sessions that will help students excel on standardized tests!
