"Hi, my name is Prarthana and I’m a Biology and Biotechnology tutor with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from India, where I focused on molecular biology and genetic engineering. Over the past 7 years, I’ve worked in research labs and classrooms, helping students make sense of everything from cell structure to DNA sequencing. My own experiences in hands-on experiments and projects mean I can share real-world examples that bring textbook ideas to life.

I’ve taught Biology to students of all ages—middle schooler, high schoolers, undergraduates tackling tough lab reports, and lifelong learners curious about biology and biotech breakthroughs. I am also a Climate Tech & Sustainability Professional and I'm excited to use my professional experience to teach students about science of sustainability, climate change and careers in this space.

I like to keep lessons interactive: we might draw diagrams together, walk through practice problems step by step, or explore case studies that show how science works outside the classroom.
