"Hello, I'm Antonia! I graduated High School early with a 4.13 GPA. I currently attend Brooklyn College through the Macaulay Honors Program which is highly competitive with a 7% acceptance rate. By 2029, I am expected to graduate with two degrees, one in Music and one in Psychology.

For the past 2 years I have been tutoring students online on a weekly basis. Most often I tutor middle and high school students helping with subjects such as algebra, world history as well as english composition. Recently, I joined a program to tutor students in person ages 6 through 12.

I believe that a student cannot learn simply by providing them with answers. I also believe that simply memorizing things leaves students with superficial knowledge of concepts. I take the time to ask students probing questions related to the topic. These questions are not made to stump the student, but instead to help them build their critical thinking skills. Critical thinking plays a big role in learning as it builds students confidence in their ideas and abilities to problem solve. Students learn how to better analyze situations, solve problems, and make confident decisions. Furthermore, it allows students to understand not only what a concept is, but how they can apply it towards future problems.
