"I have had a passion for history for many years, and I realized later in life that it was the field I truly wanted to pursue professionally. I earned my Master’s degree in History from Norwich University in Vermont in 2022. From 2018 to 2025, I taught middle school students at a private school in Salt Lake City, where I covered World, American, and Utah History.

In my classroom, I followed a chronological approach to help students understand cause and effect and how historical events shape cultures and nations today. Most of my assignments and assessments were written responses designed to encourage deeper thinking—prompting students to analyze historical questions, form arguments supported by evidence, and express their understanding in clear, thoughtful ways. I also adapted lessons to fit different learning styles, using discussion, visuals, and hands-on activities to keep students engaged.
