"I'm Jack! I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and am currently earning my Masters in Education through Western Governors University (WGU). My approach to tutoring is highly personalized: I meet each student where they are at and develop a unique plan tailored to their specific needs. My goal is to break down complex historical topics into manageable chunks, providing students with consistent checkpoints and achievable goals to easily track their progress and ensure success. I regularly conduct learning check-ins, written evaluations, and continuously monitor that the student is absorbing the necessary information.

I bring valuable teaching experience from my time as a student teacher in middle school English, Math, and History classrooms for a year. Additionally, I spent three years tutoring student-athletes at UC Berkeley, with a specific focus on history.
