"I’m a psychology major and Spanish minor at the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a passion for helping others learn in ways that feel manageable and empowering, especially for students with ADHD. As someone who understands firsthand how overwhelming school can feel with executive function challenges, I’ve helped peers build personalized study systems that actually work. I’ve guided students through everything from breaking down big assignments into small, doable steps to creating effective outlines and setting up clean, organized spaces that support focus. I’ve also led gentle accountability sessions and coached students through routines that reduce stress and make studying feel possible, even on hard days.
In addition to academic coaching, I have experience babysitting and mentoring children with ADHD. I’ve helped kids with emotional regulation using strategies grounded in positive reinforcement, sensory awareness, and step-by-step coping tools. I know how important it is for kids with ADHD to feel safe, seen, and supported, and I bring that same energy into every tutoring session. My approach is always warm, patient, and adaptive to each person’s needs.
I also tutor beginner Spanish, drawing from years of language learning as a non-native speaker. I enjoy helping students build a strong foundation, focusing on essential verbs, sentence structure, and real-world communication. Whether I’m supporting someone with Spanish, studying, or time management, I believe learning should feel encouraging and human, not overwhelming or rigid. I’m here to help students grow not just academically, but in confidence and self-trust." less...
