"I'm an advanced degree holding chemist who has spent considerable time in both academia and industry. In industry I have developed paint, cleaning products, aerosols, and lubricants. I have been teaching college level chemistry since 2003 as an adjunct professor and since 2022 as an associate professor at Hiram College. I'm also a certified high school teacher in the areas of chemistry and general science. I have taught and tutored very basic courses in physical sciences to very detailed courses in chemistry and physics. My strengths are in the areas of healthcare chemistry, organic chemistry and AP chemistry. I am often referred to as the professor that can bring very complex and confusing concepts down to a very basic level for anyone to understand.
