"I'm Jacob! I have four years of experience providing informed, patient, and personally tailored mathematics instruction. Though my specialty is Calculus, I am happy and able to help with STEM classes from elementary school to high school AP and college.

I graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Linguistics. I am deeply familiar with both sides of mathematics education: not only do I have experience as a Calculus Assistant Instructor and a one-on-one tutor, I also know the challenges of being a math student today. These experiences inform my approach to tutoring. I believe that when students feel comfortable to ask questions, express confusion, and make mistakes, they do their best work.
